Karthik Calling Karthik is a 2010 Indian psychological thriller film. The film’s music was composed by the trio of Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy . The plot of the 🎥 movie revolves around Karthik (Akhtar) , an introvert, who is always ridiculed by his boss and has faced many setbacks throughout his life. However, one day, he receives a phone call from a stranger who promises to transform his life.

The first half of the movie is very funny and sweet. We can see the character build confidence. But in the second half the movie takes a 180* turn. The movie has such unexpected twists. A very different and unique movie. Great story. The music of the movie is also exceptional. This movie definitely leaves a mark. In my opinion it was a great movie, with a great concept. This movie is a great suspenseful thriller. It is definitely one of the most underrated movies of Bollywood . It is a very strong and thought provoking movie.

A Bollywood movie way ahead of its time, It is definitely a must watch.

The notebook movie

Directed by Nick Cassavetes, this adaptation of author Nicholas Sparks’ bestselling novel revolves around Noah Calhoun’s (James Garner) regular visits to a female patron (Gena Rowlands) of an area nursing home. Rather than bore her with the inanities of everyday life, Calhoun reads from an old, faded notebook containing the sweeping account of a young couple (Ryan Gosling and Rachel McAdams) whose love affair was tragically put to a halt after their separation in the midst of World War II. Seven years later, the couple was reunited, and, despite having taken radically different paths, they found themselves unable to resist the call of a second chance. Dhoom 3 is a 2013 Indian hindi-language action thriller film. It is the third installment the Dhoom series and the sequel to Dhoom and Dhoom 2. Sahir, a circus entertainer, robs a corrupt bank in Chicago in order to avenge his father’s death. However, his troubles increase when Inspector Jai and Ali suspect him of the robbery. Abhishek Bhachchan and Uday Chopra reprise their roles as protagonists Jai and Ali. Aamir Khan while playing a double role acts as an antagonist. In a line, the movie is strictly a one time watch. The film was built taking the basic Dhoom template – a cop and his sidekick chasing a clever thief – and put it in a new (more extravagant) situation.

EK THA TIGER

Kabir Khan’s movies—Kabul Express; New York, Ek Tha Tiger start with the similar sepia-toned skyline montages of what could be Afghanistan, Iran, Iraq; strife-ridden country associated with extremists. In ETT, the montages pass quickly. A voice-over tells you of how Governments fight shadow battles of espionage and intrigue with faceless agents.

Cut to India’s finest RAW (Research & Analysis Wing) agents Tiger–Salman Khan. He enters the screen, dramatically, shoes first, kicking butt in a crowded bazaar; with his trade-mark checked scarf around his neck. He ambushes a handful of traitors single-handedly in a long-drawn high octane action sequence that is clearly inspired by Jason Bourne(Bourne Identity/Supremacy series) and James Bond (Quantum of Solace). Mission one successfully completed Tiger returns home to a middle-class neighbourhood in New Delhi.

Barely have his wounds from Iraq healed when his boss, Girish Karnad, (impressive performance) packs him of to Ireland to spy on a professor (Roshan Seth) who may be trading missile technology secrets with Pakistan.

Before he sets out, the boss ominously warns Tiger how agents must never let their hearts rule their head. But when Cupid strikes even Tigers become pussy-cats. The spy is drawn to college girl Zoya(Katrina Kaif) and he’s almost ready to settle down with her, when the twist in the plot is revealed. Kat is a secret agent for the ISI (Inter-Services Intelligence); she owes allegiance to India’s archenemy Pakistan.

Post interval, ETT goes on to focus on the Tiger-Zoya romance. Since they have unfinished business, the plot allows them to lock eyes at a peace summit in Istanbul. Passions are rekindled. This time they let their own feelings rule and elope. Chased by their own people and the enemy, the couple traipse in Cuba and other foreign locales, riding bikes and cuddling up while some lack-lustre songs play in the backdrop. One must say there is nothing raw about the Kat-Sallu romance in ETT; it’s synthetic.

Leaving the plot open for a sequel, just in case Salman’s fans demand one; ETT ends with telling you how Tiger’s file went missing because, once this super-spy decided to go off the radar, no intelligence agency could actually track him down

Dishoom

Release date : 29th July, 2016

Cast : Varun Dhawan, John Abraham, Jacqueline Fernandez

Director : Rohit Dhawab

Dishoom is a 2016 Indian hindi-language buddy cop action comedy. Kabir and Junaid, two policemen at odds with each other, embark on a mission to the Middle East to rescue Viraj, a leading cricketer who has been kidnapped. Slapstick but good fun describes the film. The combo of the 3 actors make for a good time pass watch. The film is clearly aiming for laughs, and even when it gets lost along the way, blindsided by some unnecessarily elaborate action moment or by a bicepped un-actor, it still provides a fair bit of corny fun. Dishoom received a mixed bag of reviews from critics.

ISHAQZAADE – Review

At first glance, Habib Faisal’s “Ishaqzaade” has a lot going for it — there’s some great casting, good direction and performances. The milieu is different — arid, rugged, rural India and this is about feisty, gutsy lovers . Faisal sets up the film so tantalisingly, you can only wonder what surprises he plans on throwing at you. But the second half is somewhat of a let-down. The story goes haywire, characters act out of character, and the whole film sort of ends in a whimper, when it should have ended with a bang — which is how it starts. Both Zoya and Parma have every reason to hate each other, but when they end up falling in love, there are many repercussions — both political and personal. Amit Trivedi’s music is lilting and pleasant on the ears, especially ‘Pareshaan’ and the title track.

“Ishaqzaade” isn’t as good a film as it could have been, but there are still enough reasons to watch it.

Badhaai Ho

Badhai Ho Review:- 3.7/5 Cute, Refreshing Story with Natural Performances. A Simple Kahaani of a middle class Family in which the Parents out of love commit a mistake where the mother becomes pregnant. So what happens, what the society thinks about them, how embarassing it would be for their Grown up Children and many other problems and obstacles. With keeping all this on track the movie goes on a Hilarious ride. The Cast Ayushman, Gajraj, Neena, Surekha, Sanya & Sheeba are the main part and each one was excellent in their roles and they carried the perfect Emotional balance. Mainly “Dadi” was a Highlight. The Songs are good and not many are there. The taking is Perfect and Situations are in Sync. The Story is one of those Unspoken kind of Genre and picking up such one needs Guts as you have to Convince the Audience. It has all the elements of perfect Middle Class Family and their Society. The Screenplay is Decent and is Based on Delhites Accent. There are a good amount of Jokes and Dialogues. The “Saas-Bahu” scenes are a Highlight. The Direction is at Par and captured all the Right Expressions. Well some parts of the movie u might feel something is Missing. Finally I conclude that Ayushman is in the race to bag another Blockbuster and that to Concept Oriented. Watch it with your Family. Don’t miss out.
