Hindi Medium

Movie- Hindi Medium Director- Shaket Chaudhary Cast- Irfan Khan, Sabha Quram, and others. Review- First of all I should salute director for choosing such a subject for his film. He has that guard’s to show how reputated schools selects students according to their parents monthly income (a good business technique ), and how today we are suffering to take admission in English medium schools… Final verdict- A definitely watchable movie for classes of people.. It’s not a film it’s a education message for us..

Badhaai Ho

Badhai Ho Review:- 3.7/5 Cute, Refreshing Story with Natural Performances. A Simple Kahaani of a middle class Family in which the Parents out of love commit a mistake where the mother becomes pregnant. So what happens, what the society thinks about them, how embarassing it would be for their Grown up Children and many other problems and obstacles. With keeping all this on track the movie goes on a Hilarious ride. The Cast Ayushman, Gajraj, Neena, Surekha, Sanya & Sheeba are the main part and each one was excellent in their roles and they carried the perfect Emotional balance. Mainly “Dadi” was a Highlight. The Songs are good and not many are there. The taking is Perfect and Situations are in Sync. The Story is one of those Unspoken kind of Genre and picking up such one needs Guts as you have to Convince the Audience. It has all the elements of perfect Middle Class Family and their Society. The Screenplay is Decent and is Based on Delhites Accent. There are a good amount of Jokes and Dialogues. The “Saas-Bahu” scenes are a Highlight. The Direction is at Par and captured all the Right Expressions. Well some parts of the movie u might feel something is Missing. Finally I conclude that Ayushman is in the race to bag another Blockbuster and that to Concept Oriented. Watch it with your Family. Don’t miss out.

Raid

If you have seen the trailer of RAID, you have pretty much seen the movie. Rajkumar Gupta who has given us solid narratives like Aamir and No one killed Jessica, fails to keep us involved in the writing, this time. The movie is set in 1980’s which is why, probably, most of the movie is dark and gloomy. It’s 128 mins long and has immense scope of putting you to sleep. Ajay Devgn plays a role of a honest government officer and Ileana D’cruz plays a doting and protective wife. Ajay has over the years gotten into the skin of such roles and justifies the character well. Ileana has a negligible screen presence, but whatever she does, you can watch her. Saurabh Shukla is brilliant, like he has always been and you definately look forward to seeing more of him on the screen. A super talent like Sheeba Chaddha has been wasted through out the movie. However, the real attention stealer of the movie is the actress who has played the role of ‘Dadi’. The casting unit deserves an applause, truly, for finding her and the director for extracting those lines from her. With over 100 junior artists in the background, no one comes across as a strong actor. The dialogues are crisp and apt in few scenes but mostly seem like a deliberate effort in creating impactful lines which fail badly. The climax of the movie brings you back to a harsh reality that Bollywood can’t do without some ‘unaccepted love and revenge’ cliches. So if you wish to watch the movie, do it at your own risk, but go with zero expectations.

AMERICAN SNIPER

Based on the life and book of an American Navy SEAL, Chris Kyle, the movie features some of the most violent depictions of the Iraq war. Kyle, who was considered as the most lethal sniper in US military history, took more than 150 targets including his best shot from the distance of 1.8 kilometres. The minute I saw Chris Kyle on the screen, I was certain that no one could have played him more accurately than Bradley Cooper. American Sniper has also given its director, the legendary Clint Eastwood, a lot to cherish since this movie proved to be the most successful one of his entire directing career, which spans over four decades. just awesome. good to watch. 7 out of 10.

PADMAAVAT

Director: Sanjay Leela Bhansali

Cast : Deepika Padukone

Ranveer Singh

Shahid kapoor

Jim Sarbh

One such story, adorned with ultimate opulence, made it to the silver screen and I feel fortunate enough to witness this unparalleled cinematic experience. I am talking about Padmaavat. For me this narrative by Jayasi is beyond the binarism of fiction and non-fiction. It is way beyond glorification or defamation of any caste, creed or religion. It is the celebration of the foundation on which our present rests on. It is a celebration of gifts of self-esteem, courage, fidelity and love that were presented to us by our ancestors. It is a celebration of the lesson that the society must revise regularly for self-evolution. Such classic chronicles demand to break free from limits of geography and touch zillions of hearts.Being a self-proclaimed flag bearer of Bollywood fanaticism, I am fully convinced that Mr. Bhansali has successfully contributed to this endeavour with utmost grace, grandeur and dignity. As every frame progresses, one might find oneself getting engulfed into some magical realm. Every character, big or small, leaves a deep mark in your heart especially Deepika and Ranveer. Ever since she stepped out of that yellow car as “dreamy-girl” Shanti Priya, my love for Deepika Padukone has grown exponentially with every performance. But this movie was like none before: be it be personifying beauty or the ghoomar dance or those iconic dialogue deliveries or that Climax’s crescendo… man, that scene persuaded the emotional fool in me to boost the water works. And Shaid Kapoor has also played a wonderful character of the king and has been very attractive to the audience. And Ranveer Singh… well he transformed the 3D experience to 4D, as I could feel the power emitting from him in every frame. He truly deserves every possible award for his portrayal of Khalji. But the climax was just extraordinary because a act of jauhar was performed with gave all the audience a very huge impact. At the end just a simple appeal, this piece of art doesn’t deserve hooliganism but just sheer love and appreciation. In my opinion this movie made us realise how the kings and queen use to live in the olden days and has made history !
