The film received mostly positive reviews from critics, with praise for Scorsese’s direction, the comedic performance of DiCaprio and the fast-paced and consistent humour. It has also been criticized by many as glorifying the infamous individuals and immoral behaviours portrayed in the film. It is one of the most amusing and appalling films around. This Wolf makes you wince, think, laugh – and growl.
